God, that last post was whiney! What a stinker of a mood I was in. Am better now, though, so it's all good in the 'hood. To keep my spirits up, here is...
A List of Things Frema Likes
- Pizza Hut breadsticks, refrigerated
- Pancakes with syrup and LOTS of butter
- Generic fruit snacks (you know, the ones at Pick 'N Save with the fun dinosaurs and sharks?)
- Pepperidge Farm Milano cookies
- Oreo cookies
Wait a minute. Surely food's not the only thing I enjoy. Let's try this again.
- Nancy Drew mysteries
- Soap operas with baby-switching storylines
- Soap operas with tall hunky Englishmen (and accents for good measure)
- The Chipmunk Adventure motion picture soundtrack (life's just better with the Chipmunks)
- Dancing in bathroom stalls when I'm too shy to do so in public
- Archie comics
- Great hair days
- Living in the past (only sometimes)
- Randomly attempting to hit insanely hig notes
- Hour-long phone conversations
- Dear Abby
- Posing for silly pictures
- Getting snail mail
- Making up fake names (obviously)
- Snuggling with my Build-a-Bear
- That punch made with 7-up and sherbet consumed only when you're too young for alcohol
- Singing along to television commercials for inappropriate medications ("It's a brand-new day...")
- The idea of a flat stomach
- Candles that smell like cookies (Which is why the next to last one will never come to be)
I tried.
I *love* that punch!!! I tried to make it once, but I got it all wrong. My little brother had National Honor Society inductions two weeks ago, and they always have that punch for it (That's when I tried to make it... for our senior year inductions. We had to ditch it at the last minute and just serve the leftover 7up on its own. Oops!)... anyway, I made him smuggle out a cup for me and keep it in the fridge till I came home for Thanksgiving break. Even though it was a few days old, it was still mighty delicious.
Also, in regards to singing along to commericials for inappropriate medications... let's just say there has been more than one time in my life that I've had "gotta go, gotta go, gotta go right now, gotta go, gotta go right now" stuck in my head for many an hour.

It's odd that spinach-artichoke dip didn't make that list.

Forget about television commercials for inappropriate medications...I'd like to talk about innapropriate commercials for *any* kind of medication. Have you seen the Pepto Bizmol commercials with the people standing in line, each with a different malady, and then they all sing the Pepto theme sing (Macarena style) while dancing the Pepto-Macarena?
I want to cry when I see them. They're seriously the *only* thing that makes me quickly change the channel.
