You have no idea how happy I am to be writing this post. Luke and I are in Lexington, Kentucky, this weekend, visiting friends, and for the last three days I've been stressing about my ability to post away from home. Not that I don't do that on a regular basis already, but it's usually when we're staying with Luke's parents or my sister; I've never posted at a friend's before, so I was a little afraid to ask, not to mention I imagined horrible scenarios where Tom and Justine's Internet connection would be down or their electricity would go out before I had a chance to publish my required entry for the day and my time would be over before I really had a chance to begin. Luckily, the power is working just fine, and Tom and Justine own three computers, so my fears were ill-founded.
Even though NaBloPoMo just started on Wednesday, I'm already patting myself on the back, because for the first time in my blogging history, I posted every day of the work week. I'm happy with the entries and even happier with the number of comments. Thank you so much for supporting me through this! I'm having a ton of fun so far, and Mrs. Kennedy's vision is gradually starting to take hold; writing is slowly becoming an integral part of my day, and knowing I have to post has forced me to concentrate, allowed the words to come quicker, trumped the inner voice inside my head that discourages me from hitting the "Publish" button because my ideas aren't good enough yet.
This week alone has made the whole month worthwhile.
I can't tell you how impressed I am that it's not even 9:30 a.m. and you've already posted! You rock! I'm proud of you too...and proud of all of us that have accepted the challenge.
Enjoy your time in KY!

Yay! Go you!

I am glad that you are enjoying this, because so are we!
And you are right - very good entries thus far. If, however, three weeks in you feel the only way to go is with a lunch description, it will be ok.
Have fun in Kentucky!

I loved each entry, even past ones as you saw. I am thrilled you have found your voice, and audience as it turns out. You are fun to read, whitty. Something I lack, but sure do enjoy in others.

I'm starting to get into this as well. I want to post now, before I forget, before I get distracted. Now, if I start posting before tea in the morning, that could be dangerous, but all in all, NaBloPoMo has been a good thing so far.

Congratulations on your fourth day of posting during NaBloPoMo... I hope that the weather is fabulous in Lexington. Please say, hello to Tom and Justine.

Frema--The Office wasn't too good this week. The ending was good, but overall the episode lacked in humor, in my opinion anyway.

Keep it going!

Isn't it also National Novel Writing Month (Namowrimo)? You should get on that as well.

Your work is always good with me. I know you had a good time in the South Land with Dr. Tom and Justine. I hope the trip back was not too wet.

I really feel like writing is not that different from running: if you don't do it on a regular basis, you're not as fast and you don't feel as good about it. (And the longer you put it off, the less you look forward to doing it again!)
Kudos for posting from out-of-town! I know I'd be way too lazy to write anything while on vacation. I bet you're not even abiding by my "two desserts per day, minimum" vacation rule, are you?

Keep posting girl. Don't worry about what you have to write. Every single post doesn't have to be something that could be put in a book. It could just be what's going on inside of your head. That's what I like reading most. I like the "conversation" posts along with the "serious, thought-out" ones.
