Holla! I'm calling November 30th, 6:32pm

(I'm sorry I'm spoiling your sister's December 2007 baby gift, but I don't want you to split in two!)

As an added bonus, I will also guess that Miss Freka will be 7lbs, 2oz, 20.5 inches long. If I am right about one and wrong about the other, I still win (bonus, remember?)

My birthday, of course (and the Big 3-0 at that). Sunday, December 2nd, 8:19 pm. 7 lbs., 14 oz., 19 inches.

December 8th 3:23pm

Dec 4th - 4:03 PM

December 3. 8 lbs 2 oz.

sorry Frema... December 13th @ 4:35am.

Dec 1, 3:42 am

Just for fun's sake: December 9th, 11:57pm.

OR

December 11th, 12:04am.

Me sorry to Frema, but I'm going with December 14th, 1:33am

I'd love to say my birthday (December 24th!), but I think I'd get killed!

December 5th, 6:42am

I'm going to say Dec 2nd as well at 11:32am.

I have to join in...December 9 at 6:57 AM and 8 lbs 7 oz, 21 inches!!

Dec 12, 4:50 pm.

December 7th, sometime in the evening. Do I really have to pick a time? 11:40pm, then.

Okay here goes........ December 1st at 6:20am

I'm going with the original "revised" due date: Dec. 10th, 10:35pm (new moon)

December 4th, 5:30 pm.

I am going w/ December 12th at 4:30 a.m. Cause they want you to know who is boss about those a.m. schedules. Sorry you don't have power, but it is all gooood since you have your cheesecake!

Dec. 12th - 5:32am. So sorry to be passed your due date. But that's the odds really!

Oh crap....Are there any dates left?

Let's see.. I'm in for DEC 6TH @ 0300(am)

I'm sorry to do this, but I'm going to stick with my original guess of 12/16, at 3:45 am.

I'll take December 10th at 1:40am for one million, Alex.

winner gets the baby... ah, that made my morning.

Hm... I'll go with December 11th aroud 4:00 pm

It was good of you to help out while the baby's parents are without the sevices of the internet. A good friend you are, for sure. The baby's time of coming out has yet to be picked by the baby.

I'm going with December 9th (my dad's birthday!) at 9:01 AM.

Tried to leave this on the other blog but kept getting an error...

Just one nitpicky thing: FMLA applies to employers with at least 50 employees, not 100. And those employees must be within 75 miles of the business location.

You're very lucky that can take those vacation days and that vacation will accrue while you're on leave. Employers can require an employee to use up all of their paid leave before they can take FMLA leave. And the worst part is that your accrued leave counts toward the 12 weeks (so, if I have four weeks paid vacation, my employer could require I use it followed by another 8 weeks of FMLA leave).

All in all, FMLA kind of sucks when you compare it to any other developed nation. The US is the only developed nation to have such a short leave, and to have that leave be unpaid (Australia and New Zealand are the only other industrialized countries without paid leave. However, Australia offers a longer unpaid leave and tax adjustments much more generous that the US'. New Zealand adopted the ILO's recommendations and has 12 weeks paid leave, I believe.

I am gonna go with December 9th at 2:00 am.

Let's say Dec 7 at 11:11 so there will always be a patriotic flag flying to remind you. Not that I'm patriotic, but my aunt was born on Dec 7 and her brother on July 3 and they both thought everyone flew flags for their birthdays.

Is this like Price is Right where the closest w/o going over wins?

Dec. 1, 11:20 pm

dec 14th at 6 p.m

December 12 at 11 a.m. and 7 lbs 12 ounces because all the 12s will be fun to report. And Frema'll be in the hosp. waiting to induce when a bunch of people singing God Rest You Merry Gentlemen will be strolling the hallways and she'll get all weepy and rename the baby her Christmas Carol.

Oh my gosh, my initial reaction was to say ...TOMORROW. Because dude, these last few weeks SUCK ASS.

Truthfully I'm thinking you've got a little longer. I'm going for December 8th at noon. (That was the day John Lennon was killed, so it's a special day!)

Frema will deliver on December 5th after a quick and easy labor.

Well, I'm thinking it's going to be next week sometime... Monday thru Friday, but since I have to pick an exact day, I'm gonna say...... December 5th, at..... 10:32pm.

Melissa: I realized my mistake in the employee count in the last day or two; I'll update that on my Parents blog. Either way, I'm glad it applies to my company!

And I know how lucky I am about accruing PTO while on leave. I made HR get it in writing just because it's so unusual!

Can you hold it in until I get back to Indy? I bring new moms ice cream in the hospital.
January 7th, 5:00 pm OKAY?

Since you posted a comment just a few minutes ago, I see your power is back on and I will be awaiting a post from you today without having to read another post from your guest post-er (hee hee! 0;)

Anyway, to place my bet, I say Dec. 6 at 1:26am.

On November 12th, I sort of picked December 4th at 10:15 AM. That is one of the grandmother's birthday, who was born 61 years earlier. December 4th was also the birthday of the baby's great-great grandma, Orpha Jane Brown Gray.

I'm still voting for December 7 and I'll pick 5:24 AM

December 11, 3:24 am!

Best wishes!
Pam

I'm still going with tomorrow the 29th. I'm thinking the baby will weigh in around 8lbs and 6 oz. Go, baby give your mama a rest already.

I'm going with 12/18 at 1:26PM. Good luck, I know you just can't wait!

My guess will be December 5th at 5 am, because December 5th is my birthday and Walt Disney's birthday so it's a pretty cool day to be born!

December 6 at 8:50 (ish) pm

Late to the game but I am guessing December 16th, say about 4.40 pm.

I'm imagining that you have an induction scheduled for the next day and baby decides to beat you to it. It's a quick and easy labout because I wouldn't wish a 36 hour labour on anyone!

I'm going with Dec 12th Mexico's Virgin of Guadalupe Day and knowing that you were due in December and you were born Jan 9th.
