"Not to fish for compliments or prove my writing chops, but because it helps me feel like myself."

YES. This is why I decided not to give mine up either. I miss the old days of blogging. It feels so complicated now, but that sentiment remains the same. It helps me feel like myself.

I LOVE your blog, your honesty, your encouragement, your inspiration and most importantly you for who you are (struggles and all). I can say struggles and it is not a criticism, it is because those of us who fight with perfection must embrace that we have struggles and it is OK! Love you Bree, keep sharing your journey, it helps all of us.

First off, I'm so happy every time I see a post from you. You were the first blogger I ever clicked with. I remember reading your Parents.com blog and thinking, "Oh! She gets it!" I miss our days of active blogging, when we seemed to have so much to say and so much time to say it. We still have a lot to say (probably even more now). I'm very proud of you for working on yourself. I also lasted about 6 sessions with a badly-matched therapist, one who insisted on taking apart my (happy) childhood instead of helping me focus on my (very present) anxiety.

Keep writing, keep sharing, keep pushing. I regret that I stopped writing regularly--I miss the outlet and the connection, if that makes sense. Know that any time you do post, you've got a lot of people who will be here to cheer you on. xoxo

Welcome back. As usual, this is a thoughtful, well-composed entry. Even though I am retired, I do not manage to compose many published posts. I do, however, formulate many entries in my mind.

I miss (in some ways) the days of active blogging - before Facebook and twitter sucked my soul and so many others away - both the posts that were dashed off, and those which were carefully crafted.

If nothing else, you could always write a paragraph about the current goings on of the characters from "True Love Fridays." :D

Much love always ❤️
